Hi! I hope you are doing well. Thank you for taking time to check out all of the cool things God is doing!
Well it has been two weeks since we said our farewells to the January DTS. One group headed to Costa Rica while the other group headed to the Solomon Islands. Both teams have made it to their destinations safe and are doing amazing things. If you would like to read more about their adventures I have posted a link to the right that will take you to a couple of blog posts from some team members. If you could continue praying for safety and strength for both teams that would be great! They have about five and a half weeks left of outreach and a lot of crazy, cool, exciting things happening throughout that time.
I am also excited to announce the April DTS as well as the BSN, Bible School of the Nations, has begun here in Belize. The DTS has six amazing students who are ready to learn more about God, and the BSN has nine students, four of them are current YWAM DP staff members, who are excited to dive deeper into God's Word. Both schools are in full swing and ready to be better equipped to share God's love. I am pumped to be able to watch how God is going to take these student's lives and make them ruined for the ordinary as we like to say it here.
I have really enjoyed being on the staff side of things. It's been cool getting to know my fellow staff members on a friend to friend level and not just a student to staff level. I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing team/family here at DP. My roles for this school are ministry coordinator, working the snack palapa, and updating the blog. I am very excited about all of these! God has already started laying down some plans for ministry and I can't wait to share how He worked during these times! Over the next couple of posts I will be telling more about each role and what it entails. If you have any specific questions feel free to shoot me an email and I will be sure to include them!! I want to keep all of you involved and informed because we are in this together!
I know some had questions on how to give monthly support. There are a number of different ways you can do this. One way is online. If you look to the right there is a "Donate" button. This will take you directly to the support page of our website where you can see all of our staff members and their bios as well as donate. You can also send a check to our Washington office. If you would like more instructions or information on this feel free to email me! My greatest support need is prayer though! If you could keep me, my fellow staff, the students, the ministry, and both outreach teams covered in prayer we would really appreciate it!
Thank you again for all you are doing!
