June Update!

Wow I can't believe it's been a month since I have written. Time has flown by. I'm not sure where to begin, but to sum the past month up in a few a words would sound something like this...God is good!

Our April DTS has wrapped up and has left for Nicaragua for their second phase, outreach. I was so amazed at each of their transformations. They are a solid group of four girls who joined with the Schmidts, their outreach leaders, and 6 of their 9 kids to impact Nicaragua in whatever way God wants.

The Bible School of the Nations students are still going strong here and will continue going strong for another months before heading out to two countries, the Congo and Nepal.

My family came and visited which was a great blessing! We had lots of fun and got to spend Father's day together!


I also survived my first tropical depression. I must admit, it was pretty cool seeing the waves whirl around really big and the wind so strong! Our base suffered some damage, but nothing too major. We all stayed safe and for the most part dry.

As part of getting ready for our July DTS and FCM schools to start we have been doing staff training. Our first day we had an all staff work day where we cleaned casitas and the base. We want it all in tip top shape for our new students arriving! After lots of hard work it looks great! DTS staff training has been a lot of fun. We have been able to connect as team and know God is going to do some amazing things the next few months!

 This past season was absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see the awesome things God is going to do this upcoming July season!!
