Making God Known

A YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a two phase program. YWAM's tagline is, "To know God, and make Him known." The first part of a DTS is called the lecture phase. Lecture phase is typically a 12 week period where students dive into topics such as the Bible, the Father heart of God, Christ in Culture, the Holy Spirit, and many more. It's a time to really learn about God, His nature and character. The fact that He's sovereign over all; He's the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's yet He longs for a deep personal relationship with each and every one of us.

The second phase is what we call the outreach portion of the DTS. This is typically 8 weeks spent in another country making God known. Students have the opportunity to experience first hand what it takes to be a disciple of Christ. To be the hands and feet of Jesus. To bring Him glory and take His Name to the all's and the every's. Our April 2016 DTS has prayerfully chosen to go to southeast Asia for their outreach phase! They will be going as one team lead by two of our staff members, Will and Hilde.

We still have 9 weeks left in lecture phase before these world changers head out from here. I wanted to give you a glimpse into the team though! Please keep them in your prayers as they are continuing to learn and grow during their time here!
